On November 8, the executive team and participants of the fourth batch of the Advanced Agricultural Sciences (WKS) program went to study at BGI, a leading medical technology research company in China. Which produces instruments for DNA sequencing research that are inexpensive but of high quality and are accepted by leading medical circles around the world. Currently, many leading scientists from around the world are working on research projects with BGI in Shenzhen, China. Including deciphering rice genetics for agricultural development or deciphering genetics of human intelligence, the fourth generation of WKST descended to see the demonstration plot of perennial rice cultivation of BGI Group Company, a world leader in genomics. The executive team and participants then joined the fourth batch of the Advanced Agricultural Sciences (WKS.) course to study Huawei’s business. Huawei has three important digital technologies: cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and network technology. Including pushing for development that reduces carbon dioxide.
