Riley Keough talks about her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, in a new interview and remembers the last time she saw her.
Kyo recalled the moment she had with her mother in January when they attended a support party Elvis A movie just one day before the Golden Globe Awards.
“we had dinner” Daisy Jones and the Six said the star Vanity Fair. That was the last time I saw her. I remember thinking about how beautiful it was, and that was my strongest memory of the dinner.”
She continued, “I’ve been through a great deal of pain and I’ve been through… parts of me have died and I feel like my heart has exploded, but I also feel… I’m trying to think about how we put this together… It’s enhanced the qualities that you grew up through adversity.” .
Keough was recently named the sole heir to her mother’s estate after the legal drama with her grandmother, Priscilla. Despite the legal challenges, Keough said things with her grandmother are fine.
“Things with Grandma will be happy,” she told the publication. “They were never happy.”
She added, “There was a little bit of an upheaval, but now everything will be just the way it is. She’s a beautiful woman, and she was a huge part of my grandfather’s and Graceland’s legacy. It’s very important to her.”
“[Elvis] He was the love of her life. Anything that suggests otherwise in the press makes me sad because at the end of the day, all you want is to love and protect Graceland, the Presley family, and the legacy. This is her whole life. So it’s a big responsibility that I’ve tried to take on. None of these things were part of our relationship previously. It was just my grandmother.”
