Rosé Blackpink is not opening her own company like her friends, but is requesting to sign a contract with The Black Label.

After Blackpink members Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa opened their own companies to pursue solo activities, with Rose continuing to be the only member who has been quiet with no signs of creating her own group. It was recently announced that they would like to be under The Black Label, which is managed by Teddy, a popular producer from YG Entertainment.

Black Label announced: “We have signed a management contract with Rosé. Producers Teddy and Rosé have worked closely together for a long time. We have officially partnered with The Black Label with trust and confidence in each other.”

“Rose is preparing to meet fans around the world with new music. She is also preparing to conduct music-related activities on a global level. By joining forces with a global record label, we look forward to working with Rosé, whose unique musical brilliance and The Black Label will support all of the artist's independent endeavors.”

“We promise to support Rose in all her endeavors to ensure her many successes.”

The Black Label was founded in 2016 by Teddy, a former producer at YG Entertainment. Currently, the agency has artists under its label including Big Bang's Taeyang, former IOI member Jeon Somi, singer Zion.T, and actor Park Bo Gum.
