The world's first smartphone that may use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, like the Xiaomi 15 series, now has news of its key specifications leaked from Digital Chat Station (DCS) in and it is said that the Pro model may have an improved rear camera.
Currently, Xiaomi's flagship phones have an LED flash built into the camera module along with the camera lenses, however, this appears to have changed with the Xiaomi 15 Pro, which may be moved outside the frame to accommodate more camera components. Especially since the rear camera sensor is larger.
Looking back, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has a 50MP triple-lens rear camera, with the main lens sensors being the OmniVision Light Hunter 900 (1/1.31-inch), and the Samsung JN1 (1/2.76-inch) at 75mm Telephoto. . And the ultra-wide lenses DCS believes that the Xiaomi 15 Pro model will no longer use the JN1 sensor, but will replace it with a new, larger sensor.
According to the Xiaomi 15 Pro prototype, the Telephoto lens may be upgraded to be used as a Periscope like the Xiaomi 14 Utlra, including the use of a 2K curved screen and similar size to the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
As for the Xiaomi 15 series, it is expected to be launched after the launch of Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in October.
