S.Sailing cooperates with PTTEP to organize the 5th Thai Sea Rescue Sailing Activity.
Thai Sailing Sports Federation under Royal Patronage and PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP by the Sailing Club. They jointly organized the 5th Thai Sea Rescue Sailing Activity by holding an opening ceremony on the beach in front of the Ocean Sports Center. With Mr. Nirodorn Rojanasomsit, Executive Vice President, Engineering, Development and Maintenance Group, PTTEP and Captain Pera Sakultem, Registrar and Head of Office, Sattahip. Together with young sailors, officials and athletes from the Thai Sailing Federation. Volunteer employees from the Sailing Club from PTTEP, numbering 88 people, participated in this activity.
The aim is to organize leaf playing activities to protect the Thai sea and create awareness of social and environmental responsibility. Especially the cleanliness of the beach. Seas and Islands which is like a sailor's home It is also a way to instill awareness about caring for the environment among young sailing athletes.
With this activity, the participants in the activity left the Ocean Sports Center. Heading to Ko U, within the Sattahip Bay area, which is approximately 3.54 nautical miles or approximately 5.7 km, they together collect garbage and plastic in Ko U and the Ao Dong Tan beach area. The total weight exceeds 200 kg. It is the responsibility of the local municipality to separate and dispose of it.
