Say goodbye to Windows 11, the new update, without the notebook and tips

Microsoft announces a major update for Windows 11 version 24H2 that will come with new features. But at the cost of removing three familiar apps: WordPad, Cortana, and Tips.

By Cortana, a virtual assistant with limited functionality that I think a lot of people are familiar with. It will no longer exist as a separate application. But it is integrated with other applications. From Microsoft, such as Microsoft Teams Display, Outlook Mobile, Teams Mobile, and Microsoft Teams Rooms

The notebook and advice are ready to wave goodbye.

WordPad, a basic word processor, was introduced with Windows 95 in 1995. It will no longer be updated and will eventually be removed from the system. Microsoft recommends that users turn to Microsoft Word or Windows Editor instead, although there is no clear deletion date, as WordPad is expected to disappear with the release of Windows 11 version 24H2.

Tips is an app that provides tips on new Windows features, and will continue to be updated until it is removed. (I don't know yet. Why remove it?) This app is a useful guide for Windows users, especially those who are not familiar with the new features. When you update or start using Windows, your app content will stay up to date until Microsoft removes it.

In addition to removing apps, the Windows 11 24H2 Update brings new hardware specifications and features. One of the major updates is support for Wi-Fi 7, the newest standard.
