Zachary Levi has once again caused a stir with his comments about Hollywood. the Shazam! The star was at a fan event where he called out the film industry for the “obsolete” content they produce.
“Personally, I feel like the amount of content that comes out of Hollywood is rubbish — they just don’t care enough to make it great for you guys,” Levy said during the Chicago Fan Expo this weekend while voicing his support for striking writers and actors. EW)

Then you go to the movie and you’re like, ‘Was that what I get?’ They know that once you’ve already bought the ticket and you’re in the seat, they’ve got your money. And the only way to change any of it is if we don’t go to the trash. We have to not actively pick the trash. We’ll. It helps. It will help a lot.”
Levy recently clarified comments he made during a fan event about the SAG-AFTRA strike preventing him from speaking about his work as an actor.
the Chuck Alum said his comments were taken out of context, adding, “I fully support my union, the WGA, and the strike. I remain an outspoken critic of the exploitative system our work, artists, have been subjected to since I began my journey in this business 25 years ago. This strike is necessary to protect ourselves, our writers, and all Production workers who make the industry move.”
Levy also stated that while on strike he believes actors should not forget their fans because “Our business exists and succeeds because of fans, and I think it’s essential that we appreciate them for their support of our career.”
