The Red Wings traded Jacob Vrana to the Blues in a transition between the two teams on the outside of the playoff picture, but the Wild, Penguins and Devils were among those looking to cement a playoff push with their acquisitions before the 3 p.m. ET deadline. Here’s a report on the trades that occurred before the deadline day.
