The first team of Thai national badminton players who will compete at the 33rd Olympic Games in France have arrived in Paris.
This team of athletes is led by Khunying Pattama Lesawadtrakul, IOC Member (IOC), Vice President of the Badminton World Federation and President of the Badminton Association of Thailand, along with Dr. Somsak Lesawadtrakul, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Athlete Doping Testing Centre “MAI” Supanida Kitong and South Korean coach Kim Ji-hoon.
Mr. Saran Charoensuan, Ambassador to Paris, and his wife led a group of officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris and representatives of the Thai community in France. He will be welcomed at Charles de Gaulle International Airport. In addition, the 2024 Taekwondo team will fly to England on Sunday evening, July 21, for training. Before flying to France, the Taekwondo team is the biggest hope for winning medals for Thai athletes at this Olympic Games.

In cooperation with IMANE (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the Thai Olympic Committee, 3 models of IMANE sports shoes will be provided to Thai athletes and teams from all sectors (3 pairs per person) to wear for competition at the 2024 Olympic Games, along with another 1 million baht in financial support.
