The match started in the 18th minute, and the home team had the first chance to win when Charoensak Wongkorn sent the ball to Teerasil Dangda who shot from a tight angle but the visiting team's goalkeeper saved it.
In the 33rd minute, BG Pathum had another chance as Waris Chothong opened the scoring from the right side, Sanchai Nonthasila headed it past the ground, but the ball did not enter the frame.
