Jaeger is one of 19 individuals named in a federal indictment accusing the defendants of registering and using fictitious, non-operating businesses, or in other cases established businesses, under which they can file PPP loan applications.
The indictment alleges that on June 17, 2020, Jaeger received a loan for a business, St John Enterprises, which was funded with approximately $225,754.
“The defendants used PPP funds for unauthorized personal purposes, including cash withdrawals, purchases of gold and silver, fine jewelry items, and cars,” the indictment said.
According to a statement from the US Attorney’s Office, 18 of the 19 defendants have either been arrested or summoned to appear before a federal judge.
The FBI in Dallas told CNN that Jaeger was arrested at a home in McKinney, Texas, on Tuesday. According to court records, Geiger was brought to trial on Wednesday and will appear in court on May 24.
“All of the accused are presumed innocent and Mr. Geiger intends to vigorously defend himself against this allegation,” Geiger’s attorney, David Claude, said in a statement.
Jaeger appeared in the movie “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” that aired from 1993 to 1999, as well as several spin-off projects.
