ASRock has launched a mini PC for the industrial sector, the NUC Ultra 100 Box, weighing 1kg, powered by Intel's new Core Ultra CPU (Meteor Lake-H).
Intel's Meteor Lake chipset also has AI processing power, enabling Windows Studio Effects for video calls. Photo editing effects Video and other Edge AI apps that require heavy hardware processing power run more smoothly.
The product includes both the BOX-155H and NUC BOX-125H models, using the CPU as the model name suggests: Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 5 125H, respectively, divided into a full-size NUC model (117.5 x 110.0 x 49 mm) and a NUCS model Slim (117.5 x 110.0 x 38 mm)
Each model has up to 96GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM, 4 DisplayPorts: HDMI 2.1 x2, DisplayPort 2.1 (USB 4) and DisplayPort 1.4c (USB Type-C), 2.5G LAN port, and Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. There is no information on the release price yet.
The most important feature of the NUC is the performance of both the Core Ultra CPU and Intel Arc GPU, which has increased more than before. Supports 3D processing tasks much better than before. It retains the NUC form factor.
Last year, Intel signed a deal to sell its NUC business to ASUS, but did not offer exclusive rights. This allows Intel's other hardware partners to continue designing and selling devices as NUCs.
