The Queen took part in the first day of the 52nd Sailing Week of the Spanish Super Series.


At 1:20 p.m. on August 28, Spanish time. That is 5 hours after Thailand time, Her Majesty the Queen participated in the sailing competition with Team Vayu, boat number THA27, at the Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week TP 52 Super Series 2024 in Mallorca on the first day. Thirteen sailing teams from 9 countries participated in the competition.

In this competition, Her Majesty participated in the competition with Team Vayu, boat number THA27, as the strategist responsible for monitoring the wind direction. Plan before the wind hits your boat. So that the team members have moved the position can weigh the boat in time according to the wind flow. Which each ship The goal is to return the boat as quickly as possible, and it is important to keep a distance between each boat. To prevent accidents and guide the boat back to the designated buoy quickly and safely.

All boats, all 13 teams from 9 countries, including Vayu boats, left the starting point at the same time. At the beginning of the first day of the competition, each boat competed fiercely and intensely from the start to the finish line, and each boat overtook the other by less than one meter. The judging team (referee) closely monitored the competition. – Organize the competition in accordance with the regulations. Prevent accidents between boats colliding with each other because the TP 52 is a high-performance, high-speed Grand Prix racing boat. Therefore, all competitors must be extremely careful about their safety at all times.

Later at 2:16 p.m., Team Wayu's sailboat reached the finish line in the first race, taking a total of 56 minutes. Team Wayu will continue to collect points in the second race and other races until the last day of the competition.

For the TP 52 Super Series 2024 “Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week” competition, the competition will start from August 28 – September 1, which will be contested with two races per day for up to 5 days, for a total of 10 races, and then the committee will add up the results of all 10 races to determine the winning team in Field 4.
