TCL, maker of popular Roku TVs, Fire TV and Google TV, today announced a new free streaming device called TCLtv+. This new service will provide more than 200 live channels and more than 1,500 movies and TV shows on demand. TCL says it will also be adding new titles every week from major content providers. This includes content from NBCUniversal, Scripps Media, FilmRise, and more.

TCLtv+ is now available in the US and Canada on TCL TVs with Google TV. TCL says the new service will soon be available on TCL sets featuring the Roku TV and Fire TV platforms. Customers will automatically see the channel and can start using the service for free. There are no subscriptions, fees or logins required to access TCLtv+. No specific dates have been announced for support on Roku TVs and FIre TVs.
