Ahead of the start of the 2024-25 season, the aim of this year's rankings is to enable UEFA to place these teams in different pots when the group stage draw for European club competitions is made. The rankings were published on the organisation's official website on Friday, July 12.

Manchester United – Manchester City can play in European cups with the same owner team but buying and selling on loan is prohibited.
The winners of the various leagues, the Champions League winners and the Europa League winners will be placed in Pot 1, while the remaining pots will be filled by the other clubs. Those who have passed the competition round based on their ranking and UEFA determines the ranking based on the performance of European clubs over the past five years.
