Vivo Thailand has launched the vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G smartphones in collaboration with ZEISS, the lens brand from Germany.
The vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G use ZEISS multifocal lenses with a special focus on portrait photography. There are also 7 Zeiss Style Bokeh modes to choose from according to your photography style.
The difference between the cameras of the vivo V40 5G and the vivo V40 Pro 5G is that the Pro model has 3 rear cameras, but the regular model has 2 rear cameras.
The rear camera of the vivo V40 Pro 5G consists of a 50MP primary camera with OIS image stabilization, followed by a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle camera that supports autofocus for landscape photography. The front camera of the vivo V40 Pro 5G is a 50MP selfie camera.
As for the vivo V40 5G, it has the same rear camera as the vivo V40 Pro 5G, except for the lack of a telephoto camera.
The vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G chipsets have slight differences. The vivo V40 5G uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, but the vivo V40 Pro 5G is the Mediatek Dimensity 9200+.
Both models support a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 4500 nits, on a 6.78-inch screen, with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels, and the upper part contains a screen protection system with Schott Xensation Alpha technology, and it is water and dust resistant with an IP68 standard.
Additionally, the vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G offer the same 5500mAh battery, supporting heavy usage such as gaming and other entertainment.
The vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G will be released together tomorrow, August 30. The vivo V40 5G is available in two models: 12GB + 256GB for 15,999 baht and 12GB + 512GB for 17,999 baht, and there are 3 colors to choose from, including Starry Silver, Nebula Purple, and Singlow Peach.
